CHARACTER NAME: Estinien Wyrmblood
CANON: Final Fantasy XIV
CANON POINT: Mid-Heavensward (Main Scenario Quest), before Nidhogg returns.
CRAU: No
AGE: 32
AGENT OF DESTINY: Nope
BACKGROUND:
Le Wiki + A Journal Entry bit

POWERS/ABILITIES:
Dragoon; The Dragoon class in FF14 is a glorified, magic-ish lancer, specializing in massive amounts of (mostly) single target damage, with the theme of abilities that had been utilize to fight large, mobile and thick skinned dragons. Estinien is capable of all of the abilities on the linked page - you (the player) basically don't get to unlock them as a Dragoon until you witness Estinien using them. There are a few extra things you see Estinien do, like on Dragonfire Dive, he leaves behind a ring of fire on the ground that a PC Dragoon does not do if they use the same ability. But for the most part, Dragoon comes with a lot of inhumanly huge jumps, some fire and explosions, some aether channeling, but it isn't a Mage class, so nothing too magically fancy. All destructive abilities will be limited to give game parameters - 1 car worth? 2 cars? Whichever it was D:

Eye of Nidhogg; The eyes of a dragon are the sources of their immortality and power. Estinien is currently carrying one of Nidhogg's eyes into Xistentia (and the Eye will also be his daemon, though I'd like it to retain it's power (albeit nerfed, obviously). The Eye is something like a vessel for a massive amount of aether, which can be channeled into things like barriers, or attacks. They also hold a portion of Nidhogg's essence, able to consume the will of one who wields it and possess them with a shade of the dragon, should their willpower fail to withstand the whisperings of it. Typically, these whisperings would only be heard within Estinien's mind, but as the Eye will be his daemon now, everyone will be able to hear it. Given game limitations apply here too.

STARTING EQUIPMENT:
Drachen Armor + Gae Bolg; Ignore that Lalafel. Estinien's Drachen Armor used to be black, but from the point he's coming from, it's stained red after slaying Nidhogg. And missing one horn, because Estinien is too cheap to get repairs, I guess. He also wields Gae Bolg, an ancient artifact of a Dragoon's lance. It's pretty.

Nidhoggd; Estinien's daemon is the creepy red talking eyeball he likes to carry around everywhere. See Powers section for more info on that, but yeah. It's a magic eyeball. It talks to him. It's pretty rude.

Inventory; Your typical Mysterious Video Game Inventory Space. Really, he doesn't carry much, but when he tucks away the Eye it sure does vanish into a pocket dimension somewhere??? But his wouldn't be any larger that Era's. Probably half of whatever she can carry, because he's a weird hobo who owns like nothing and probably lives on cup ramen.

SAMPLES: TDM!

EXIT STRATEGY: Just after the Warrior of Light's defeat of Thordan, Estinien showed up to retrieve the second Eye of Nidhogg from Thordan's fallen sword, but before he's able to pull it free, there's the deafening sound of banging against the walls of the Singularity Reactor, and when he and the Warrior of Light go to inspect, the sky above Azys Lla, and all around it, is blacked out by thousands upon thousands of crazed, warped, unnatural looking dragons, descending on everyone on the floating city. The sky cracks with red lightning, fire raining from the sky, and it's all he and the Warrior of Light can do to get back to the Excelsior and attempt to fly away and escape the horde. The ship (with Alphinaud, Cid, Lucia, Biggs, Wedge and the Warrior of Light aboard along with Estinien) is knocked to and fro with the onslaught, and eventually slips through a rift that opens in the sky, but by that time, Estinien has hit the deck, and the others are no longer in sight by the time the ship hits Xistentia's beach and sends him tumbling into the sand.
